There’s a little bit to know about the community and what there is to all do here!
Your Profile:
As a member (register or login) you have a profile. Please go and update your profile, add in details like your facebook page, twitter page, etc.
To do so, click on your username in the sidebar and this will take you to your profile. In there you can change you avatar, edit your profile and you will also see your latest activity.
So now when you’re chatting with someone and want to go check out their blog quick, you can click on their username and see all their information, all in one spot!
Groups:
The Kids Blogger Network is a group on Blogging With Kids that is open to every member here. It’s a place for connections to take place as well as chit-chat. As a member, you have already been invited to join!
You’re also invited to join the Welcome – Getting started in the Kids Blogger Network group. If you have any general questions about where to find something on Blogging With Kids or how this all works. Ask in here! We’ll have docs and forums in there to hold information that helps you get around.
Browse around and join other groups or create your own and invite others for your amazing events and happenings that you have planned for the blog world.
You will see the groups that you’re a part of in a list in the sidebar every time you’re logged in to Blogging With Kids.
Group Forums:
Every group has its very own forum attached to it. It’s nice to organize certain topics, especially when you’re planning collaborative events
Events:
This is a big one and great for reminders of what’s going on so we can all keep it straight with our own very busy schedules.
There’s a super handy events page to get a list of everything that’s planned! The events that are shown are ones that are relevant to you. If you’re part of a group that has an event planned, it shows up here. If you’re not a part of a group that has an event planned, you don’t see that one. Pretty nifty, huh?
You can create your own events for your blog world happenings too! To do so, head over to your profile, click on Events > My Events > Add New.
Every time you’re logged in to Blogging With Kids, you will find a list in your sidebar of your upcoming events! So you won’t miss a thing that’s happening.
